Tesla Model Y Juniper (2025 Refresh): What's New and Which Accessories Fit

Tesla's 2025 Model Y refresh — known by the internal codename Juniper — brought a light bar across the front, a full-width taillight, a quieter cabin, a rear passenger screen, and revised interior trim. If you're shopping accessories, those changes matter because a lot of parts built for the 2020–2024 Model Y will no longer line up.

Spotting a Juniper Model Y

Look for the slim light bar spanning the front, the connected LED strip across the tailgate, ventilated front seats, and the redesigned dash with ambient lighting. Earlier cars have separate headlight units and a more conventional rear light cluster.

What's now model-specific

  • Floor mats and trunk liners — The cargo floor and footwells were reshaped. Choose sets labeled for the 2025 Juniper. See fitment-matched options in the Model Y Juniper collection.
  • Front and rear screen protectors — The new rear-seat display needs its own protector, and the center screen bezel changed.
  • Light accessories and trim — The new front light bar and rear strip mean different bumper trim, tow-hook covers, and mud-flap mounts.
  • Door-sill and bumper protection film — Pre-cut PPF kits are shaped to the new bodywork.

What carries over from the older Model Y

Charging gear (home chargers, adapters), tire inflators, emergency kits, cup-holder inserts, and most universal phone mounts work on both. Anything tied to body panels, lights, or the screens should be bought as Juniper-specific.

The simple rule

Confirm "2025" or "Juniper" in the listing title before buying anything that touches the body, lights, or screens. You can see many of these parts installed on a real refreshed car in our Watch & Learn reviews. For everything that fits, start with the full Model Y collection.
