EVIO Is Building 22 Tesla Supercharger Sites — Here's Where They're Going

Good news if your regular route runs through the Northeast or Florida: the Supercharger network is about to get denser, and Tesla isn't the one building it. Certified operator EVIO is deploying white-label Superchargers through Tesla's Supercharger for Business program, and its public charging location tracker currently lists 22 Supercharger site locations in the pipeline.

That works out to 176 total stalls across those sites, with each location carrying anywhere from 4 to 12 stalls. For drivers, these aren't some parallel network you need a new app for — they're real Superchargers, with Tesla handling the backend.

Where the Pipeline Stands Right Now

EVIO's tracker breaks the rollout into three buckets:

  • 1 site live and operational, delivering up to 325 kW of maximum power.
  • 5 sites under construction. One will cap at 325 kW; the other four are all-V4 builds (V4 stalls plus V4 cabinets) capable of up to 500 kW for compatible EVs.
  • 16 sites listed as coming soon — all of them all-V4 hardware rated for a maximum 500 kW output.

The takeaway: 20 of the 22 sites are headed for V4 hardware. If you drive a vehicle that can take advantage of higher peak rates, this is the good stuff.

The Full Location List

The footprint leans heavily toward the Northeast and Southeast, with a few outliers dropped elsewhere:

  • New York: Nanuet, Suffern, Poughkeepsie, New Windsor, Croton-on-Hudson, Millwood
  • Massachusetts: Saugus, Malden, Shrewsbury
  • Connecticut: Meriden
  • New Jersey: Florham Park, Wayne, Warren
  • Georgia: Lawrenceville
  • Florida: Kissimmee, Ocala, Holly Hill, and three separate Jacksonville sites
  • Illinois: Glendale Heights
  • North Carolina: Greensboro
  • Colorado: Aurora

The Hudson Valley cluster is worth calling out — Nanuet, Suffern, Poughkeepsie, New Windsor, Croton-on-Hudson, and Millwood are all within a fairly tight corridor. Same story with Jacksonville, which is getting three sites on its own.

How Supercharger for Business Works

Tesla's Supercharger for Business program lets property owners and commercial hosts buy official Supercharger stalls directly from Tesla, then brand and install them on their own real estate. Site owners set their own prices for visitors, which turns otherwise idle parking spaces into revenue.

Tesla stays involved on the parts that matter to drivers. It handles all maintenance and backend management for these third-party installs, and backs the stalls with a guaranteed 97% uptime. The sites also appear in Tesla's in-car navigation with full routing support — so trip planning treats them like any other Supercharger. In exchange, Tesla collects $0.10 per kWh charged from revenue-generating sites. Tesla already has more than 80,000 Superchargers globally, but this model brings fast charging to spots Tesla might not have prioritized on its own — locations that get skipped over on profitability or site-access grounds.

Part of a Bigger Third-Party Trend

EVIO isn't alone here. EVgo recently announced plans to start installing 500 kW V4 Superchargers through the same program. The difference: EVgo runs its own proprietary plugs alongside Tesla hardware, while EVIO operates as a certified Supercharger operator. Either way, the direction is the same — more businesses buying and installing Tesla hardware means more reliable fast-charging options for drivers.

What This Means for Your Charging Kit

More V4 sites in the pipeline is a good reason to check that your gear is ready for them. A few practical notes:

  • Non-Tesla EV owners: V4 stalls have longer cables and are friendlier to vehicles with charge ports in awkward spots, but a quality NACS-to-CCS adapter is still the thing standing between you and these stalls. Make sure yours is rated for the current you'll actually pull.
  • Tesla owners: Nothing new to buy — these show up natively in your nav. Just keep a charge port cleaning brush and a pair of gloves in the frunk for winter stops.
  • Everyone: Peak rates like 325 kW or 500 kW are ceilings, not promises. Your actual speed depends on your vehicle's max accept rate, state of charge, and battery preconditioning — so preconditioning en route to a stop is still the single biggest thing you control.
